POTSDAM – The community is warmly invited to attend an important and insightful series of Nuclear Energy Public Forums hosted by Jefferson Community College and Clarkson University in partnership with Assemblyman Scott Gray (R-Watertown).
These free, public events will explore the current reality and future potential of nuclear energy, a critical topic for New York state’s energy landscape.
These forums are open to the public, but RSVP is required to ensure attendance.
The events are an opportunity to engage directly with experts and gain a deeper understanding of this vital energy source.
Forum details
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the technology, facts and future of nuclear energy in New York state.
The program will cover the fundamentals of nuclear power, address common misconceptions from data and expert insight and discuss how advanced nuclear technologies could shape the state’s energy policy and economic development in the years ahead.
Two public forums will be held:
Gray said, “We are excited to facilitate these vital conversations. Energy policy affects every New Yorker, and these forums ensure the public has a welcoming, non-technical space to get the facts about nuclear energy, its technologies and its outlook for the future.”
