POTSDAM – Blueline: A Literary Magazine Dedicated to the Spirit of the Adirondacks will celebrate the publication of its 45th Anniversary Issue on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 4-7 p.m. at the St. Lawrence County Arts Center (SLC Arts), located at 6-8 Raymond St. 

All are welcome. 

A $10 donation is welcome at the door but not required. 

All proceeds will benefit the magazine. 

A cash bar and light refreshments will be available.

Contributors to this year’s issue of “Blueline Magazine” will read from their writing. 

Others will be invited to read their writing as time allows during the event.

Since 1979, “Blueline” has featured the highest quality poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and visual art by regional and national contributors. 

Each year the magazine prints writing about the Adirondacks and regions similar in geography and spirit, focusing on nature’s shaping influence.

This year's issue includes poetry by Stephanie Coyne DeGhett, Neal Burdick, Alice Wolf Gilborn, Lee Slonimsky, Yuan Changming, David Giannini, and many others; non-fiction by Jesse Curran; short fiction by Linda Batt, Ruth Ann Dandrea, Tom Noyes, Roger Sheffer, and Judith Manchester; regional poet Natalli Amato is interviewed by Rick Henry; featured art includes painting by Danielle Johns and photography by Saikat Chakraborty.

Copies of the Anniversary Issue will be available for sale at the event for $15 per copy.
