The Potsdam Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for NJ’s Homemade Ice Cream & Treats, Potsdam’s newest ice cream shop.
There was a wonderful showing of support from members of the Potsdam Chamber Board of Directors, several community members, business owners and town officials.
NJ's Homemade Ice Cream & Treats is located at 1 Market St. and is owned by Allison Burris.
"I really want to give my deepest gratitude to everyone that came out to share this special moment with me and my team and to take the time out of their busy schedule to support us. I am overwhelmed with joy as this is the Potsdam I remember and love." said Burris.
NJ's Homemade Ice Cream & Treats is open 7 days a week from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
All ice cream flavors and treats are made on site and include a fun atmosphere to dine in. They offer vegan and gluten free ice cream options and several bakery items.
