POTSDAM – Get ready for an unforgettable weekend as the Annual Potsdam Summer Festival returns to downtown Potsdam from July 11-13.

This year’s festival promises an immersive experience, said a statement from the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce, who are organizing the event. The three-day festival will be packed with exciting activities and attractions that showcase the vibrant spirit and rich diversity of our community, the chamber said.

On the Main Stage Music, immerse yourself in the vibrant sounds of summer with live performances by more than 40 local bands and artists spanning a variety of genres. From rock to jazz, blues to folk, our lineup offers something for every musical taste.

Explore the bustling marketplace in Ives Park and Market St., featuring over 90 vendors offering handmade crafts and locally sourced products from the North Country’s finest artisans. From unique jewelry and artwork to delicious gourmet treats, there’s plenty to explore and support within our community.

On Friday, the festival kicks off with the Fall Island Fiesta Children’s Event, offering a day of interactive fun for families with more than 10 engaging activities. Activities include locomotive train rides, a reptile show, touch a truck, library story time, engaging museum activities, rock painting, and more. It’s the perfect opportunity to create lasting memories with your loved ones in a safe and welcoming environment right here in Potsdam.

On Saturday, enjoy a full day of excitement with over 15 activities like laser tag, community performances, pickleball, an antique and classic car show and a food truck rodeo that will keep you energized. The evening culminates with a Fireman's parade and Run to the River followed by a grand finale fireworks display, a breathtaking show that lights up the Potsdam night sky and marks the conclusion of our festival celebration.

As the sun sets, the festival ambiance continues with evening entertainment and dining options that ensure the excitement lasts well into the night.
