POTSDAM — A 21-year-old Virginia woman was arrested on driving while intoxicated charges early Oct. 4 after Potsdam police observed her driving after dark without headlights, according to police.
Alana S. Cunningham of Norfolk, Virginia, was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of 0.18% or higher, and inadequate headlamps.
Police said a breath test at the Potsdam Police Department showed a blood alcohol content of 0.19%.
Cunningham was issued tickets and released. She is scheduled to appear in Potsdam Town Court at 10 a.m. Oct. 28.
