MASSENA -- Patricia A. Smith, age 77, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Massena Rehab and Nursing Facility, surrounded by her family.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 1:00 pm in Pine Grove Cemetery, Norfolk.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Phillips Memorial Home in Massena.
Born in Massena on February 13, 1949, to George and Stella (Kanoff) Thibault.
After graduating from Massena High School, she attended college in Watertown, and lived most of her married life in Carthage. She married Raymond Smith in Carthage.
She worked for 13 years as a supervisor at the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino, and lived with her sister Sue while working and traveled back to Carthage to her home on the weekends.
In her free time, she enjoyed tending to her flowers, crocheting, and decorating her sister’s houses.
Patricia is survived by two sons, Todd of Elizabeth City, NC and Jason of Carthage. Four grandchildren, her siblings, Sue of Massena, whom she resided with, two brothers, Ralph Thibault and Raymond Thibault both of Massena.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Raymond on November 4, 2014.
