Palmer Realty to hold second annual Holiday Pajama Drive

CANTON — Palmer Realty is once again calling on the North Country community to help make the holidays a little warmer for local children with its second annual Holiday Pajama Drive.

Beginning Nov. 1 and continuing through Dec. 18, Palmer Realty will collect new children’s pajamas to benefit families in need throughout St. Lawrence County. This year, the Palmer Realty team is aiming to collect 300 pairs of pajamas for local children.

“Our community showed us last year just how much can happen when people come together for a good cause,” said Ariane Palmer, Broker/Owner of Palmer Realty. “We’re excited to bring the pajama drive back for a second year and hope our neighbors, local businesses, and organizations will help us reach our goal of 300 pairs.”

The drive welcomes new pajamas in sizes ranging from infant through youth 18 for both boys and girls. Donations may be dropped off at Palmer Realty, 29 Main St., Canton.

For convenient drop-off, donors can place pajamas in the special donation hut outside the Palmer Realty office. Larry Jenne of ADK Rustiques created the hut, and it will continue to serve as a collection point for the annual drive for years to come.

At the conclusion of the drive, donated pajamas will be distributed through local nonprofit organizations and programs serving children and families throughout St. Lawrence County, including holiday-giving programs, shelters and family support agencies.

“Something as simple as a new pair of pajamas can provide a child with warmth, comfort, and a sense of care,” Palmer said. “Our goal is to make sure as many local children as possible have something cozy and new to wear this holiday season.”

Palmer Realty encourages individuals, families, businesses, schools, and community organizations to participate by donating pajamas or organizing their own small collection efforts.

Donations will be accepted Nov. 1 through Dec. 18.
