Packing 460 snack bags for Norwood Beach

Kim Davidson, left,  and Laurie LaPoint, volunteers with The Community Lunch Program for Kids and Norfolk Raymondville Food Pantry, pack 460 snack bags to be delivered to Norwood Beach to help address food insecurity over the summer, when school is not in session and children don’t have access to the free breakfast and lunch program. Each bag contains a juice box, fruit cup and six snack items. Smaller snack bags have also been given to both the Norwood and Norfolk Public Libraries for their Saturday Snack Cupboards.
