MASSENA — “Olympics Week” will be held at Nicandri Nature Center Aug. 4-10 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
All programs are free and open to all ages. No registration is required.
Daily nature programs will have an Olympic theme, with prizes at the friendly, family competitions.There will be scavenger hunts as well.
Aug. 4: Lawn fishing challenge 10 a.m;
Aug. 5: Pollinator obstacle course 10 a.m. and 2 p.m;
Aug. 6: 10 a.m. Nature craft, make wood cookie “medals”, and Lawn fishing challenge 2 p.m.; Aug. 7: Animal Olympics with games and challenges to complete with animals 10 a.m, and Tardigrades to learn how water bears are gold medal level survivalists 2 p.m;
Aug. 8: Outdoor games 10 a.m. and Animal Olympics 2 p.m.;
Aug. 9: Pollinator Obstacle Course 10 a.m.;
Aug. 10: Animal Olympics 2 p.m.
