MASSENA — An Ogdensburg man was accused of possessing a purse that did not belong to him, according to state police.
Troopers said they charged Michael W. Hillenbrand, 41, with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property on Sept. 23.
Troopers responded to S. Main Street and an investigation determined Hillenbrand was in possession of a stolen purse that did not belong to him.
Hillenbrand was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Massena court at a later date in October.
