POTSDAM — Cosmic pickleball is the newest craze, and it is now available at Sandstone Park, Potsdam.

The black lights that make the courts, nets, paddles, balls and players light up are thanks to Barker Productions.

“All credit goes to Michael Popovic and Marcus Alvarez, of Barker Productions. They are the sound and light geniuses that made the investment for the lights and design for this plan,” said Teresa Fisher, of North Country Pickleball Club.

“The music is awesome and the photos don't do it justice,” said Fisher.

“Sandstone Courts are the only courts in upstate New York that offer this activity. I'm not certain but we may be the only venue in the entire state,” she said.

 “I saw Cosmic Pickleball in Florida last winter and thought it would be a great thing to try here. It has been a great success,” she said.
