1. REGIS FALLS -- MILC’s Executive Director Jeff Reifensnyder and Deputy Director Courtnie Toms traveled from Massena to St. Regis Falls recently to present St. Regis Falls Adult Center Executive Director Barbie Fitzgerald and its Board of Directors with a plaque and donation honoring the memory of the late Royal Phillips.  

Phillips served on MILC, Inc.’s board for 32 years.

“Everyone at MILC, Inc. who knew Royal, knew him as a friend and as a staunch advocate for others. Particularly those who by virtue of disability or age need people like him helping to knock down obstacles in their path to greater independence, equality, and inclusion in everyday life.  With that and knowing Royal also cherished his volunteer involvement with the SRFAC in  their likeminded mission and good works, MILC is honored to make this contribution to SRFAC in his name," said Reifensnyder.
