MASSENA -- Massena Police have charged a former bookkeeper for Frenchie’s Chevrolet with stealing thousands of dollars from the dealership.
Police say Sarahlynn A. Burnett, 39, was charged with Grand Larceny second-degree: value greater than $50,000 (C Felony).
According to police, the charge stems from Burnett allegedly stealing approximately $70,000 while working as an employee at Frenchie's Chevrolet.
According to court documents, Burnett overpaid herself more than $34,000 and charged roughly $30,000 on company credit cards at Walmart and an additional $6,500 at Amazon.
She was arraigned in Town of Massena Court and released.
