Marcus W Moe, 43, Fowler

FOWLER -- Marcus W Moe, 43, of Fowler, NY passed away unexpectedly on October 10, 2024.

Marcus was born May 23, 1981 in North Carolina to Arthur Moe and Mae Serviss DeLisle.  

In 1989 Marcus and his father relocated to New York where Marcus spent most of his childhood and attended Gouverneur School District. He then moved back to NC, and became a father to his beautiful daughter Haylie. 

Two years ago Marcus decided that he wanted to come back to the place he called home and moved back to NY and went to work for Cives Steel Co in Gouverneur. 

Marcus enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, fishing, hunting, playing darts, and especially spending time with his daughter Haylie, his love Ashley, his little side kick Joey and years of a true inseparable brotherhood with his best friend Andy Breckenridge. 

Marcus will be missed by so many. There will always be a spot saved at Cobb’s man cave with your name on it! 

Surviving Marcus are his parents, Arthur and Lavina Moe, NC, and Mae and Tod DeLisle, ON; a daughter, Haylie Moe of NC; his loving partner, Ashley Plantz and her daughter Joey; his sister, Emily (Shaun) Powell; step-sister Alena; nephew, Devin Hull; aunts and uncles, Barbara Sanders, Linda (Scott) Rumble, Tammy Tillotson, Michael Moe, George (Debbie) Serviss, Michelle (Clark) Jennings, Joanie Serviss, Jimmie (Jennifer) Serviss; many cousins and friends. 

Marcus is pre-deceased by his grandparents,  Arthur and Thelma Moe, George (Buckshot) and Helen Serviss; aunts, Patsy Boney, Vicky Thayer, Mary Fowler; and uncles, Richard Serviss and Wayne Serviss. 

There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at French Funeral Home in Gouverneur.
