MASSENA -- Main Street Movie Night is back in the village of Massena with a showing of "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" on Saturday night.

The event, presented by the Seaway Valley Prevention Council and Horizons Youth Clubhouse, will hose the free event on Saturday, August 10 beginning at 5 p.m.

Main Street between Andrews and Orris streets will be shut down for the event, with the movie expected to begin around 8:30 p.m.

Organizers say there will be food trucks, vendors, entertainment and games, bounce houses and other entertainment for the whole family.

Parking will be behind Horizons Youth Clubhouse as the town hall parking will be off limits with a bounce house setup in the parking lot.

Food will be available for purchase during get event, including pizza slices, freed dried candies, drinks, desserts and nachos from Rosarios, hotdogs from I Dream of Wienies, freeze dried candies from Frozen Munchies, jams from The Hilltop Homestead, sourdough breads from The River Sourdough, Mexican food from Taco Time and Divalissa's Popcorn & Unique Creations.

Lena the Lizard Lady will also be on hand at the event as well, bringing along her many critters to educate those in attendance.

Leonard the turtle is also expected to be on hand at the Nicandri Nature Center booth, organizers say.

The Salvation Army will also have a booth available on Main Street to inform the public about their various programs.
