OGDENSBURG -- Dominic Quintavalle. a senior from Madrid-Waddington School, has been named BOCES Student of the Month for October by the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce. He is a student in the Automotive Technology Program at Northwest Tech BOCES in Ogdensburg.
Kelly Tiernan, Automotive Technology Instructor at Northwest Tech BOCES, had this to say about him, “At Madrid-Waddington School, Dominic is a member of the track team where he throws shot put and discus. Here at Northwest Tech, he is president of the National Technical Honor Society. Dominic is always willing to help others and has an outstanding personality. He says that attending Northwest Tech and the auto program is the best decision he’s ever made.” Dominic plans to attend SUNY Canton’s Automotive Program after high school.
Dominic received a $25 check from Jones Insurance Agency, a Certificate of Achievement from BOCES and a plaque from the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
