NICHOLVILLE - Georgia Josephine Murray, daughter of Cameron and Katie Murray of North Lawrence, NY, passed away unexpectedly in a tragic accident on September 12, 2024.
Born on December 8, 2023, she was only nine months old.
Georgia was a sweet, lively baby, who knew she was funny and loved to make people laugh and to laugh with them. She was the beloved of all her family, with so much personality bundled up in her little frame.
She was always happiest being a part of whatever was going on, either in someone’s arms or in the backpack, leaning over to see and smile and share; and she loved music, and sang loudly long after the music would stop, especially at church.
She charmed all who met her, and leaves a huge hole in our hearts.
Our Georgie-Jo is now our anchor in Heaven, safe in the arms of God; she leaves behind, in addition to her parents, her brothers Quinn, Jude, Patrick, and John, her sisters Antonia, Ruby, and Honora, and her loving grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The wake will be held on Friday, September 20 at St. Therese Chapel in Nicholville, NY, beginning with the rosary at 6pm.
Mass and burial will be at the same location on Saturday, September 21 at 10am.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Therese Academy, Nicholville, NY.
