MASSENA -- Joseph Hence, 56, of Massena passed away on October 25, 2026, at his home.
He now joins his daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren in heaven after a tragic loss in 2025.
Joseph was born on April 27, 1970, in Massena, NY, the son of James and Louise (Gray) Hence.
He attended Massena Central School and later married April DeRonde on August 7, 1993, the marriage later ended in divorce.
Joseph worked at Trombino’s for 15 years and later doing odd jobs around the area.
He enjoyed spending time outdoors and being with family.
Joseph is survived by his daughter, Tiffani Hence of Syracuse; two grandchildren, Dante and Alessia; three sisters, Cheryl Pearson of Ogdensburg, Mary (Lyn) LaRose of Potsdam and Shelly Nason of Malone.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Tiara Bowen; son-in-law, Thomas Bowen and three grandchildren, Eli, Karmen and Joshua Bowen.
There will be no services.
