POTSDAM – Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley will be holding a free six-week grief support group in Potsdam called Navigating Grief Together. This group is for adults who are grieving any type of loss.

This group may be helpful for people whose loss happened at least three months ago. Each week, members will learn about grief, share their experiences, and support each other. Topics will include what grief can feel like, how it affects the body and emotions, ways to cope, and how to stay connected to the person who died in a healthy way. Additionally, this group will have a special focus on grief during the winter holidays. 

This is not a therapy group. It is a social support group for adults who are already working through their grief.

The group will meet in person on Wednesdays from 2-3pm starting November 18, at the Hospice Administrative Offices (6805 US-11, Potsdam, NY 13676).
