Ogdensburg Professional Firefighters Local 1799 recently got in some ice water rescue training. Shift 4, under the command of Captain Al Rickett, took to the city marina during their day shift to train on the ice. ‘This skill is paramount in our area with all the ice fishing, snowmobiling, and wintertime activities,’ department officials said in an online statement. ‘We take great pride in training to keep our skills sharp and our community as safe as possible.’
