HEUVELTON – The Grasse River Players continue their 50-year anniversary of bringing community theatre to the North Country. The new musical, MESSIAHS by GRP member Elaine Kuracina, will be done at Pickens Hall on Aug 16 and 17.
MESSIAHS present five American preachers from different eras who meet in the Winning Souls Casino. The casino dealer is Lucky Louie (Lucifer) with Sal Angel, the goddess hostess. Who will win?
It will be a workshop production which means actors will use their scripts but they will perform a full character with costumes, scenery, and movement.
The audition is for the part of Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of Christian Science. The actress should be late twenties, low soprano and full of spirit. Contact Elaine at 315-212-0451 for interview/audition.
