BRASHER — The forest came alive over the past couple of weekends in preparation for the Annual Tri-Town Chamber Haunted Hayride in Brasher Falls.
Many volunteer ghosts and goblins helped with electrical installation, prop set-up, wagon maintenance and dirt work in the woods.
“The chamber is very excited this year that electrical outlets were added to the field, due to a commercial generator purchased by their fundraising efforts, skilled volunteers, and an electrical donation from Dow Electric,” said Ed Russell, Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce Vice President.
Among the decorating volunteers was 8 year old Makaya Barrett and her father, Josh, owner of Glow Party Trailer, who will set up all 6 nights of the hayride.
The Tri-Town Haunted Hayride will be held this year on September 27 & 28, October 4 & 5, and October 11 & 12 at 94 Leary Flint Rd, Brasher Falls.
Non-scary rides start at 5:30 p.m. until dusk, and scary rides start at dusk approximately 7:30 p.m.
“The decision to keep the low admission fee of $5 per person will allow all residents and surrounding community members to enjoy a low cost spooktacular event.” said Russell.
The haunted hayride benefits the Tri-Town communities of Brasher, Stockholm and Lawrence.
