To the Editor:

On June 7, my great-grandsons Jason and Raiden were having a fun sleepover. Then I fell and couldn’t get up.

I called to Jason, age 6, and told him I needed his help. He had to go in the dark and get the phone.

He punched in his grandpa’s number for me then he called 911 for me. He got me a pillow and one for him and he laid down with me.

He unlocked the door and showed the first responder where the light switches were.

He also checked on his four-year-old brother.

I ended up with a fractured femur. 

Jason was very brave and he is my hero.
