GOUVERNEUR – A Gouverneur woman is accused of biting, and trying to stab a teenager Aug. 29, according to village police.
Tabitha L. New, 35, was charged with second-degree attempted assault, felony, officers said.
She was also charged with second-degree menacing with a weapon, third-degree assault and two counts of acting in a manner injurious to a child, police said.
New was reportedly involved in a physical domestic at 15 Johnstown St. on Aug. 9 with a 16-year-old.
She allegedly bit the 16-year-old on the right shoulder and tried stabbing the child twice with a knife.
New was arraigned at Gouverneur Town Court and released, police said.
