Arrested at 8:02 PM for Petit Larceny, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance – 7th Degree, Resisting Arrest, Obstruction of Government Administration – 2nd Degree and Disorderly Conduct (obscene language). The defendant was questioned about stealing a phone from an individual. The defendant was placed under arrest for swearing and yelling in a public place multiple times after being advised to discontinue by police. While trying to affect the arrest the defendant actively pulled her arms away from police officers. Further investigation revealed the defendant was in possession of the phone after telling the police she did not have the phone; defendant was also found to be in possession of a white crystal-like substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. Defendant was released with an appearance ticket with a Gouverneur Town Court date.
