Gail Elizabeth Kelsey, 83, Potsdam

Gail Elizabeth Kelsey, beloved mother, legal secretary, and friend, passed away on April 20, 2024, in Potsdam, NY, at the age of 83. Gail was born on May 26, 1940, in Ogdensburg, NY.

Gail was a fun-loving and care-free individual who cherished life and was always kind and considerate of others. She excelled academically, graduating as the valedictorian of her class at Hammond Central School in 1958. Gail furthered her education at the Watertown School of Business and went on to have a successful career as a legal secretary for over 46 years, working with various judges and attorneys.

Gail had a passion for travel, new experiences, reading, and music, which she enjoyed immensely. She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will be deeply missed by her surviving family members: daughter, Sherry A. Taylor; son, Kevin K. Kerr; daughter-in-law, Stacie L. Strader; step-granddaughters, Trista S. Strader and Simonne't Strader; as well as nephews, Wayne Kelsey and Michael Kelsey.

At this time, there are no memorial services planned for Gail. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley in Gail's honor.

Gail will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, unwavering kindness, and love for life. May she rest in peace.
