A Town of Fowler man has been charged for allegedly accepting a down payment for roofing work he never performed.
Jamie Bonanno, 35, allegedly accepted the payment for a job in the town of Norfolk, according to St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies.
An arrest warrant was issued. He was picked up by members of the Gouverneur Police Department on Sept. 28 and turned over to the sheriff’s office.
He was charged with petit larceny, arraigned in Norfolk town court, and released.
