RUSSELL – SVC Explorers of the Unknown, an up-in-coming group of paranormal investigative documentarians, will be leading ghost tours and paranormal exploration on Oct. 26, in Russell.

The event, led by three of the most renowned names in the field, will begin at 6 p.m. and conclude with a gathering at the historic Russell Theatre, built in the early 1900s and said to be haunted.

Evan B. Stone, a world-renowned cinematographer from Los Angeles, known for his work on popular shows such as Finding Bigfoot, Ghost Nation, Expedition Unknown, and Destination Truth, will be leading the investigation.

With a career spanning over 23 years in cinematography and paranormal research, Stone brings a wealth of experience from around the globe.

Joining him will be Jack Alan Vaisey, a native of Massena, and a 23-year veteran in the paranormal field. Vaisey is known not only for his investigative skills but also as a key figure in SVC Explorers of the Unknown, a show that dives deep into the mysteries of cryptids, paranormal phenomena, and local legends.

Vaisey has investigated some of the most haunted locations across the U.S., bringing a unique perspective as a North Country native.

Also part of the team is John Briggman, a spirit medium and ghost hunter from Syracuse. With decades of experience communicating with spirits, John has been involved in numerous investigations, uncovering the stories hidden in the dark corners of history. His unique abilities as a medium add an extra layer of insight to the ghost tours.

The ghost tours, which will take participants through some of Russell's most haunted sites, will culminate at the Russell Theatre, where the team will share their decades of paranormal experiences from investigations around the world. 

Guests will hear firsthand accounts of eerie encounters, unexplained phenomena, and the team’s most memorable moments from their careers as explorers of the unknown.
