RENSSELAER FALLS — A fall bird walk is being offered at Indian Creel Nature Center Saturday, Oct. 3, from 8:00 a.m.- 10:00 a.m.
Leaders Dr. Susan Willson, avian biologist at St. Lawrence University, and Eileen Wheeler, ICNC Board member, expect to find fall songbird, raptor, and waterfowl migrants passing through on their way to wintering in the southern US and Latin America, as well as resident species that are found at Indian Creek year-round.
Bring binoculars, or there are a few to loan and rest for the water, with possible muddy trails and mosquitoes. Meet at the main entrance to Indian Creek Nature Center, 770 County Route 14 (CR14), Rensselaer Falls. If you plan to attend, email:eiwheeler@yahoo.com
