It is fair season around the state, and this year the Gouverneur and St. Lawrence County Fair will be held July 30 through August. 4. In nearby Franklin County, the fair runs Aug. 3-11. Also, the New York State Fair in Syracuse is held Aug. 21 through Sept. 2.
