COLTON — This Easter, Colton Community Church (formerly the United Methodist Church) is organizing the Colton Community Church Easter Kids Choir.

Those wishing to participate will come by Colton Community Church for just one rehearsal on Saturday morning, March 30, at 9 a.m.

Adults will be free to stay and watch with Pastor Steve Smith and his hilarious wife, Theresa. Or sign a permission form and slip out for a quiet cup of coffee! Trusted Church Board members will also be on hand to ensure the safety of all participating children.

Participants are invited back to Colton Community Church for Easter Sunday at 9:45 a.m. for a quick review and to get lined up for their entrance. The entire service is designed for children to enjoy.

Colton Community Church, 11 Church St., (the beginning of McKabe Road) just across from the Hilltop Manor Housing Development on Symonds Square Road.

CANTON — Spring break drama workshops will be offered at the Canton Free Library for local children.

Participants will play games, tell stories, and explore a story together through multiple drama activities.

No acting experience necessary.

The workshop for children in Kindergarten-2nd grade will be Monday, April 1 from 1-2 p.m. and the workshop for children in grades 3-5 will be Wednesday, April 3 from 1-2 p.m.

Workshops will be led by students in Angie Sweigart-Gallagher’s Drama for Teaching and Learning class at SLU.

No registration necessary.
