A surface cold front will cross the region today, only some areas will have very light rain, mainly in the St Lawrence Valley, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Showers are likely before 5 p.m. with highs near 63, the service says. Overnight lows will be around 47.

Thereafter, cooler temperatures and drier weather are anticipated through the remainder of the week, NWS says.

Sunny, with a high near 73. Southwest wind 6 to 10 mph.

Mostly clear, with a low around 52. South wind around 7 mph.

Friday

Sunny, with a high near 73. South wind around 6 mph becoming west in the afternoon.

Scattered showers, mainly before 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 49. Light north wind. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Saturday

Sunny, with a high near 66. Calm wind becoming northwest around 6 mph in the afternoon.
