OWLS HEAD – A chicken barbecue will be offered Aug. 3 from 3-6 p.m. at Trailside Bar and Restaurant between Owl’s Head and Mountain View, sponsored by Mountain View Association.  Open to the public, proceeds will help fight invasive plant life in Mountain View and Indian lakes.  Dinners include a half chicken, cole slaw, and salt potatoes with butter.  Orders placed by July 25 are $14 and can be made at Owl’s View General Store and the MVA Community Event at Sugarloaf Cabins Bed and Breakfast on July 21.
