POTSDAM — Aaron Brooks has been named the assistant coach for the Clarkson University Men's Lacrosse team for the 2024-2025 season.

A December 2023 graduate of SUNY Cobleskill with a degree in Plant Science, Brooks was a two-year member of the Fighting Tigers lacrosse team. Over two seasons, Brooks appeared in 21 contests, starting 19 as an attack and defenseman, recording 31 points with 27 goals and four assists.

A member of the Northern Atlantic Conference All-Academic team, Brooks was also recognized with a NAC Sportsmanship Team award for Spring 2023. After graduation, he continued to play a role with the Fighting Tigers as a student assistant coach. Before Clarkson, Brooks was also a member of the coaching staff for the Men's Lacrosse Team at Pennsylvania College of Technology, serving as an Assistant Coach with a focus on defensive coordination from January-May 2024.

During his time with the Wildcats, the team finished with a 10-9 record, advanced to the program's first championship appearance ever in the United East and had two defensemen earn All-Conference honors.
