POTSDAM — An alleged bicycle thief has been caught, according to village police.
Jesse C. Davis, 33, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, criminal possession of burglar tools, third-degree criminal tampering, two counts of criminal mischief and attempted petit larceny, officers said.
He was cited at 5:44 p.m. on Sept. 28.
Police said the charges stemmed from multiple complaints of bicycle thefts over the last week.
Davis was issued tickets and released, police said.
