GOUVERNEUR — The 2​024 Gouverneur and St. Lawrence County Fair is slated for July 30-Aug. 4, with the annual 4-H exhibit judging and competitions starting Saturday, July 27.

This year’s fair promises to be the biggest yet with two country music shows planned, talent show, firemen’s parade, demolition derby, grandstand shows, High School Bands Parade with Carlton Peck Awards, food, games, rides, tractor pulls and vendors.

FRIDAY, Aug. 2

9 a.m.-8 p.m. 4-H Youth Building Open

9 a.m.-5 p.m. 4-H Western/Ranch/Gymkhana Horse Show (Horse Show Ring)

9 a.m. 4-H & Open All Breed Dairy Cattle Show (show ring)

10 a.m.-7 p.m. FFA Building Open for Daily Activities and Demonstrations

12 p.m. Second Flower Show (Youth Building)

2 p.m. RIDES OPEN

6 p.m. Barnyard Olympics (Show Ring)

6 p.m. New York Hot Farm Pulling Series - (Grandstand)

Wristbands

There is a $25 for any wristband of the 2024 fair. Each purchased wristband is good for one wristband promotional period. The wristband grants access to all rides excluding the Rockin Cars (Bumper Cars) and bungee jump.
