POTSDAM — At 1844 House, farm-to-table dining is becoming more approachable than ever.
Known for its cozy atmosphere and thoughtfully prepared dishes using fresh, local ingredients, the restaurant is redefining what it means to enjoy a quality dining experience in the North Country.

Amy Conger, executive chef, is leading that shift with a focus on accessibility and community. “We want people to feel like this is their place,” Conger said. “Farm-to-table shouldn’t feel out of reach—it should feel welcoming, familiar, and something everyone can enjoy.”
That philosophy comes to life with the popular “$6 ’til 6” menu, featuring $6 drinks and appetizers available until 6 p.m.—a perfect way to experience the menu without the splurge.
Guests can expect even more exciting changes soon, as 1844 House prepares to launch a fresh, affordable menu this June, continuing its mission of great food for everyone.
1844 House is located at 6885 NY-11, Potsdam. Their phone number is 315-268-1844. Website is at www.1844House.com.
