POTSDAM – Mario and Luigi, scarecrows, princesses, heroes and monsters were among the characters roaming downtown Potsdam during Fright Night held Thursday, Oct. 26.

Trick or treaters filled their bags with candy given out by storefront businesses on Market Street, as well as outlying businesses with decorated trunks or tables set up on the street.

The annual event, organized by the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce, was well attended again this year despite drizzling rain.

The Potsdam Fire Department was on hand to show their fire engine, as well as pass out candy.
