To the Editor:
This November the people of Waddington have the opportunity to elect a Town Supervisor with a business background and decades of wide and varied experience. That man is Kevin Liddell.
Kevin left his hometown of Heuvelton right after high school. Like many young people, he felt he needed to relocate to find a good job and establish a professional career. He has held managerial positions overseeing hundreds of employees including logistical, construction, and utilities (both private and public sector). Kevin's skill set will make him an ideal Town Supervisor. After many accomplishments and decades of experience in the southeastern United States, Kevin returned to St. Lawrence County with his wife, settled in Waddington, and opened a very successful restaurant in the area.
The Liddell's have been very involved in our community establishing and supporting fundraisers. They have donated time, food, money or services to Waddington and Lisbon area churches, worked with and supported the Waddington Fire Department, the Bassmaster's events, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, the local American Legion, the local food pantry, the Junior Carp Tournament, Turtle Trot, and the Remington Museum. No jamboree ever left his establishment without a donation.
Kevin has given to and supported the Sons of the American Legion Ice Fishing Derby, the Masons, Eastern Star, and SLC Cancer Fund. The Liddell's have hosted the Annual Homecoming Picnic for thirteen years and Liddell humbly states that "We have always given and will continue to give as much as we can to our community."
There is more Kevin Liddell can do for us as our Town Supervisor. Let's give him a chance to do it. Please join us in your support of and vote for Kevin Liddell.
