POTSDAM -- Potsdam native Keith Bollt was the top finalist in the The New Yorker magazine’s cartoon caption contest recently.
Bollt was the winner of Contest #649 on Feb. 4. He captioned a cartoon of a therapy session where the therapist sits by with a disinterested look and the patient, a middle aged man lays prone on the couch with a large weight holding him down.
Bollt’s caption: “We’ll pick this up next week.”

Bollt, the son of Elizabeth and Erik Bollt, and graduated Potsdam High School in 2015 as co-valedictorian. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in environmental management from Duke University Nicholas School in Durham, N.C.
