MADRID — A Christmas interview with Santa and the Grinch, followed by a parade and a children’s Christmas party are planned on Sunday, Dec. 19.

Santa Claus and the Grinch will be at the Hepburn Library of Madrid parking lot before the parade, at 1:45 p.m., before the parade, for a special live interview.

The community is invited to join him at the library, or on the library’s Facebook page, to find out what Santa’s predictions are for this year, and if the Grinch will once again try to steal Christmas.

The parade begins at 2 p.m. and the party will be held from 2:30-4 p.m. outdoors in the Madrid Hepburn Library Parking Lot.

The events are free to attend.

The party will feature games, photos with Santa and the Grinch, treats, Madrid Community Carolers and hayrides (if weather permits). The party and parade are hosted by the Madrid Dam Music Series, with help from the Madrid Fire Department, Madrid Rescue Squad, Hepburn Library, Town of Madrid and event volunteers.

To register to participate in the parade, call 315-265-2047.
