The free clinic will be held at 8 Clarkson Ave. in Potsdam and will offer dental, vision and general medical care to individuals in need.
Organizers are calling on health care professionals and community members throughout the North Country to volunteer their time and skills to help make the event a success.
Volunteers are needed in several areas, including:
Community members without medical training are encouraged to participate, as numerous nonclinical volunteer opportunities are available.
The clinic represents an opportunity for local health care providers, students and residents to come together to support their neighbors and help address barriers to accessing essential health care services.
Remote Area Medical organizes free health care clinics to bring medical, dental and vision services to people who might otherwise struggle to obtain care.
With the Potsdam clinic scheduled for June 2027, organizers are encouraging prospective volunteers to sign up in advance and help bring these important services to the North Country.
Individuals interested in volunteering or learning more about the upcoming clinic can visit www.ramusa.org or call 865-579-1530.
The clinic will take place June 12-13, 2027, at Cheel Arena on the Clarkson University campus in Potsdam.
