POTSDAM — The Sandstone Festival celebrated Potsdam’s historic stone Saturday, Sept. 19, at Ives Park.
Hosted by Potsdam Public Museum, the event highlighted the colorful stone that has played a big role in shaping Potsdam’s architecture, industry, economy and community for two centuries.
The festival included tours of sandstone buildings, sandstone themed art activities at SLC Arts, and storytime, and live music at Ives Park.
