OGDENSBURG — United Helpers is raffling off a raised garden bed.
The raffle is being held as a partnership between students in Larry Ashley’s Building Trades Program at Seaway Tech in Norwood, Coakley’s Home & Hardware in Canton and United Helpers.
“We’re grateful to both the students from BOCES in Norwood and Coakley’s for partnering with us on this fundraiser,” said United Helpers Assistant Director of Corporate Services Jordan Downing-Duke. “Someone is going to be very happy when they have this beautiful raised garden bed outside of their home.”
Up for grabs is a handmade raised garden bed, complete with straw, top soil and fertilizer to help you get started. The garden bed measures at is 8(L) x 2.5(W) x 1.5(D)
All that’s missing are the plants and your green thumb.
Tickets are available online through the giving tab at unitedhelper.org or by visiting https://secure.qgiv.com/for/raisedflowerbedraffle/event/raisedflowerbedraffle/.
They’re priced at: $5 each, 3 for $10, or 7 for $25. A maximum of 500 tickets will be sold.
Tickets will be sold up until 11:59 pm on Thursday, June 13. The drawing will take place via Facebook Live on Friday, June 14 at 1 pm. Free delivery of the prize will be available within a 50 mile radius of Ogdensburg or Canton.
