MASSENA — A man is facing felony drug possession stemming from a traffic stop April 15 on West Hatfield Street, according to state police.
Kasine A. Forsey, 29, New Jersey, was charged with three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies, officers said.
He was also cited for second-degree criminal impersonation, police said.
During the traffic stop,troopers found approximately 500 bags of heroin/fentanyl and 38 grams of cocaine.
The criminal impersonation charge resulted from Forsey providing a false name to law enforcement during the traffic stop.
Forsey was arraigned in Massena Court and remanded without bail to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
During this arrest, Troop B-VGNET was assisted by members of the New York State Police Counter Terrorism Intelligence Unit, New York State Police Community Stabilization Unit, St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force, U.S. Border Patrol, U.S. Homeland Security Investigations and St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s K-9 unit.
