Three local residents were named to the Dean's List for the 2023 fall semester at Hamilton College in Clinton.
They are Ryan Hayes, of Potsdam, a senior majoring in music, and a graduate of Potsdam Central School; Claire Murphy, of Potsdam, a sophomore, and a graduate of Potsdam Central School; and Rorie Newman, of Rensselaer Falls, a senior majoring in creative writing, and a graduate of Hugh C. Williams Senior High School.
To be named to the Dean's List, a student must have carried a course load of four or more graded credits throughout the semester and earned an average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale.
