CANTON – Taylor Park on the Miner Street Road in Canton is back open after getting the green light today (July 25) to reopen from the New York State Department of Health.
The Canton Recreation Department was forced to close the park on July 12 following major rain storms that created massive flooding. The park remained closed due to high water, flooding and large floating debris.
Lifeguards reported to their 3:30 p.m. shift today immediately following the state inspection, said Recreation Director Meghan Richardson.
