POTSDAM -- SUNY Potsdam alumni and friends have given a total of $1,988,959 in honor of 2019 class reunions, as of July 8, said a press release from the college.
Five classes have exceeded their class giving goals this year, including the Class of 2009, with $7,693; Class of 1999, with $8,816; Class of 1984, with $10,698; Class of 1979, with $59,773; and Class of 1974, with $128,293.
The 50-Year Club, which is made up of all classes from 1968 and earlier, has $1,688,488 in class gifts this past year, to benefit students and programs at SUNY Potsdam. This giving includes both outright gifts and the establishment of funds through planned or estate giving.
