Widespread rainfall will occur today in St. Lawrence County, though it will likely be light enough to prevent a flooding threat, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Temperatures today will remain cool with highs only in mid-50s, the service says. Overnight the low will be around 54 with rain tapering off around 5 a.m.
Skies clear Monday and high will reach near 70, NWS says.
High pressure will build into the region for the start of the work week and bring dry and mild weather, forecasters say. Rain showers will arrive for mid and late week.

A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 8am. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 70. West wind 5 to 9 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
