POTSDAM -- Reachout of St. Lawrence County, the only local 24-hour suicide and crisis information hotline, is now accepting applications for their February volunteer training class.
This is an opportunity to support and care for the people in our community by becoming part of the local safety net. When someone is having a crisis, a warm person on the other end of the line can help sort out confusing and overwhelming issues.
Those who wish to volunteer may apply online at reachouthotline.org by Tuesday, Feb. 5 for the training weekend beginning Friday, Feb. 8.
